Augi - Windsonde Gryphon

My character for is now complete (well, except for the juvenile markings, but I don't have enough time). I know most people think seagulls to be the 'rats of the sky' as it were, but growing up on an island myself, I hold a lot of liking toward them and personal connection. From what I have seen of them, I find it almost hard to believe that Great Black-Backs are the largest gulls in the world oO. Strange!

Augi is almost your typical Great Black-Back: opportunistic, and quite the bully when it comes to anyone else finding food when he knows about it - if the victim is smaller or weaker, or sometimes even when they aren't, he will attack them until they relinquish their catch, often forcing them to regurgitate their prize. He tends to be relatively simplistic in nature, often more than content to ride the currents and be on the lookout for a hapless crab than to catch up on the day's juicy gossip. He will often tease his food if it is still alive, almost to the point of torture, and he especially loves ripping off the legs of crustaceans for no real reason at all. He will also drop molluscs from as high a height as he can, often making a game of it where his friends can participate if they so choose.

Augi is a pretty distant individual, not having had much social exposure before he became an adult, and is only now gaining the bravery to explore beyond his oceanside home on his own volition. He has a lot of learning to do!

Intrinsically, he is quiet, observant, and reflective, though when around new gryphons he can be fearful and if someone tries to intimidate him, even violent. There is a quiet, brewing aggression in his heart, and he sometimes takes it out without much alarm on crabs and bivalves in his home territory (if he's not just trying to eat them). There may be a chance in the future that he will act out against someone that will have much greater consequences, though, and could lead to grave trouble.
