Shed

One form or the other, neither are completely separate from what they grow from.

This was drawn on a night of sleeplessness where I actually decided to think about some deeper things.

This drawing depicts my current stance on my personal identification with draconity - I am human, but even though it is the most prevalent side to me at this moment in time, and my relation to my draconic side has mostly passed on, my draconic aspect is still an important part of myself, and will never truly go away. I kind of think of this image in akin to the legend of the Selkie, the dichotomy and relation between the creature's two forms, and how important one is to the other.

This was also a fun experiment with cross-hatching. I hope you enjoy the image.
