These are drawings observed from three skulls - the Brown Hyena (Parahyaena brunnea), the Clouded Leopard (Neofelis nebulosa), and Carnotaurus sastrei.

These three skulls are ones that I feel resemble the skull structure of my Romanian Three-Tail dragons the most, though I will be combining their features for the final drawing.

2 1/2 hours on the Brown Hyena, 30 minutes for the leopard and carnotaur (the hyena is the most important to me structurally).

Brown Hyena and Clouded Leopard refs from [link] . Carnotaur ref from Google images.

So, the carnotaurus for the horns and short snout? Hyena for jaw strength? And it appears, teeth.
Where does the clouded leopard come in?

It's really interesting to see similar structures, it kind of helps picture Lecc better; not that you can't anyway because your skills at drawing are just incredible.

The leopard was chosen for an alternative skull variation - they are more adapted to feed on meat alone, while the hyena is more for a utilitarian diet, including that of bone, needing much stronger skull construction.

Thank you for the comment!

Ah, that's really interesting, didn't consider that.

Still, your anatomical drawings are fascinating, you get all the detail.

You are always welcome (:
