Lhune - Lavender Skies

My entry to the CAX Exchange, hosted by *Dragoness77

Ironically enough, my character to draw was *Dragoness77's Lhune herself! Talk about funny coincidence.

I hadn't had much time to work on this due to all sorts of crazy schoolwork and other art projects, but I decided I'd give it what time I had and pressed on past the due date by a few hours. I am happy with myself that I actually finished this, though, even though I know I could do better. For having done the whole background and some body details in around 3 hours, I say that is pretty good for someone as inexperienced with color and digital art as I am.

I know this has flaws, but I am still happy with it, darn it! It gives off the atmosphere I was going for, and Lhune herself looks good if not decent. Please feel free to critique if you think something should be said.

Original size: 2560 x 1920 (I am finally realizing that larger image sizes pay off when it comes to detail)
