Was an entry to 
's redesign contest ( [link] ), and I decided to go for a more shamanistic, magic-wielding version of Mera, who to me seems to be more based on physical reality than magic. Odd experiment in DYNAMIC LIGHTING as well 
. Could be refined more, but what I have here isn't bad, seeing that I rarely use digital art programs at all (Photoshop here). I might make another entry as well, and decide between the two as to which one I'll pick to submit. But aye - have a semi-shoddy picture! Lots of fun to work with. 
Roughly 4,5 hours? More?

Perhaps I would be right to be scared of Mera-the-dragon on general principle... but this is the first time it's actually been borne out. Great job on that.
