A commission for Tyr of his D&D Dragonborn character Medrash, and his drake mount, Jennuouk, displaying their might.
Above the din of Allfather Wotan's given ground
I beheld him, who dwelled upon the sun baked rocks.
He stood tall, his shadow framed against
the bloody dust and crimson stained sands
that choked with the blood of the righteous fallen.
It mattered not what lies, what threats or promises
had persuaded these foreigners to leave their homes.
Their hearts had taken the bait, and little
could they comprehend the great beast that did take
up their challenge.
How terrifying was he, who in the face of
grave defeat could remain upright and unbroken.
Laden with the burden of life and inflamed by the
passion of patriotism, he thrust his lance towards
the lofty heavens and loosed his mighty cry.
And all that day beheld the greatest of terrors:
The Fury of the Drakerider.
