An $120 commission for Graylocke of a rather difficult and personal combination of scenarios turned into illustration. Just for clarification, though, the kitten and the adult snow leopard are illustrations of different aspects of their psyche; the fearful, battered kitten giving up hope of escape, and the determined adult eager to reach his goal despite the odds.
A very inspiring and empathetic image for me, and I really got to go to town with detail, yet again. Thank you so much, Graylocke! <3

Makes me wonder what the story behind this picture could be, I have read the description of the deviation of course but still... what is the creature in the top of the hole? Is it here to help or is it the responsible of the situation?
